LATEST RELEASE

vibe RIDER 2024

Rad Stacey serves up a punchy dose of Pop-Punk energy with their latest EP, Vibe Rider (2024). Perfect for fans of Blink-182, All Time Low, and Four Year Strong, their songs capture everything from a raw, post-breakup vibe that’s equal parts heartbreak and defiance, to heavy, dark self-loathing that only comes late at night in the wake of loss and questionable decisions.

All six tracks are packed with powerful, fun, catchy melodies, backed by radical guitar riffs and a rock-solid rhythm section. The vocals, dripping with emotion, deliver the story of heartbreak and resilience in a way that feels authentic and raw, giving listeners a reason to shout along.

Whether you’re nursing a breakup or just need a cathartic jam, “This Isn’t Tennis”, their standout single, hits all the right notes. It’s a reminder that even in the mess of breaking up, there’s power in picking yourself up, blasting your favorite tunes, and rocking out.

PAST RELEASES

“There seems to be a theme with Rad Stacey’s music. That theme seems to be killer riffs and positive messages in their lyrics. “Night Traffic” reminds us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The song is filled with incredible gang vocals, driving drums, and horn-inducing guitar licks. The vocal melody is so memorable, you could easily enjoy singing along with it after the first listen. Toward the end of the track, Rad Stacey reminds us to live and that we can do what we want if we don’t let others dictate our lives.”

PRESS

“Rad Stacey’s music engages audiences with the catchiness of bands like Blink 182 and Four Year Strong, mixed with the energy and honesty of Falling in Reverse and MGK. With the release of their debut EP, Shhh… Tell ‘Em All, Rad Stacey establishes themselves as a promising new voice in the world of rock.”

-Zachary Larson of Radio Airplay

“Push" [off of ‘Shhh… Tell ‘Em All’] reminds us all that sometimes we need a little help to notice all the great things life has to offer us. The chorus is incredibly catchy, as its simple structure lends itself to what music is all about, enjoying it. You could scream the lyrics and headbang to your heart’s content because you were given the push to actually live. Rad Stacey has no pretense but came with purely awesome riffs, great vocals, bumping bass, and rad beats! The song fits with Easycore, Metalcore, Pop-Punk, and Alternative Rock, but its incredibly unique structure and tone make it stand out.”

Est. 2020

The boys in Rad Stacey genre bend with high-energy songs that elicit a hard rock feel with a Pop Punk tint. Rad Stacey’s music engages audiences with fat guitar licks and catchy beats that mix well with their energetic and honest lyrics. With heavy influences from punk, hardcore, pop, and hip-hop, Rad Stacey serves up the best of the unexpected.

Founded by bassist and singer Ian Heirs and guitarist and vocalist Joey Hudson the band started in 2020 with a menagerie of musicians that have worked together in the scene for years. Originally Joey was on drums and long time friend and other founding member Greyson Britt was on guitar and backup vocals. After the release of their debut EP Greyson left the band on good terms and there was a bit of a shuffle in the bass and guitarist slot until late 2022 after Joey and Ian played an acoustic set for an amazing crowd. The reaction led the two to realize Joey needed to come up front and sing full time with Ian. From there the line up was more or less set and the guys picked up Joey’s older brother Toby Hudson on drums and recruited friend and roommate of Joey’s, Alijah Williams on lead guitar. The boys have been inseparable and unbreakable since, writing and performing non-stop bringing their passion and swagger together for a sound that is all their own.

Rad Stacey released their inaugural EP, “Shhh…Tell ‘Em All” in 2020. It’s an expansive, uplifting collection of tracks that takes shape with its signature crunchy guitar riffs and high-energy beats. The guys followed it up with singles Night Traffic (2021) and Still Here (2022). After some extensive performing and line-up adjustments the band released their latest EP Vibe Rider (2024)to great reception. Choice tracks like “This Isn’t Tennis” and “Smile” have been the marquee singles. Melodic leads and hook-laden vocals are the driving force behind the music. The uplifting and heart on their sleeve lyrics promote putting yourself out there and answering life's call to live despite loss and heartbreak. Rad Stacey returned to their punk rock roots with the single “Fallin’ Off” (2025), a white knuckle four on the floor burner with bass lines reminiscent of late 90s skate punk and guitar harmonies that bring back the sounds of summer and Warped Tour. With a diverse set and insatiable hunger for the stage and studio Rad Stacey is a promising new voice in the scene.
